We not only offer used racking but also frequently recommend and sell new racking. There are certain circumstances where we would only recommend new racking for example:

1. When the quality of the used racking cannot be verified, in particular with very heavy loads.
2. For unusual size loads as in these circumstances, standard sizes of racking available on the second-hand market may not suit the size of the goods to be stored. There is little point in saving 20% on the racking if you lose 25% of storage capacity.
3. With many Drive-In racking installations.

Manufacturer’s Guarantee
New Pallet Racking will come with the manufacturer’s guarantee. Most of the pallet racking manufacturer’s are providing covers on all pallet racking produced. The second-hand pallet racking will not be covered by the original manufacturer as they won’t know what stress the racking is under, what physical abuse or impacts it may have encountered, or what damage had been done to the racking originally.

The new racking is designed to make the best use of your space
Used pallet racking is not site-specific. The new racking is designed to use your space to its full potential.

Used pallet racking may need costly amendments
Used pallet racking will likely need to be added to, cut down, or require extra new items to complete it. This is all at an additional cost, is likely still not to be as efficient as new racking and you won’t have a manufacturer’s guarantee if anything goes wrong.
