Complete Warehouse Storage Solution for Q-Brands

Secondhandracking.com was contracted by Q-Brands Limited who are based in Cornwall to design, supply, and install a comprehensive warehouse racking solution tailored to maximise storage efficiency and load capacity. The project required a combination of single and back-to-back pallet racking runs, longspan shelving, and packing benches, fully decked and fitted with safety features to meet operational demands.

Project Scope

Q-Brands Limited required a robust and flexible storage system capable of handling heavy loads while optimising floor space. The requirements included:

Pallet racking for bulk storage
Longspan racking for general storage and pick areas
Packing benches to support warehouse operations
Safety features including anti-collapse mesh

Solution

A full warehouse storage solution was installed, combining pallet racking, longspan shelving, and packing benches to maximise storage capacity and support efficient operations.

Pallet Racking
The installation included a mix of single and back-to-back pallet racking runs configured across five levels with a load capacity of 2000kg per level. Rear anti-collapse mesh was fitted to the single runs for added safety, and decking was installed on every beam level to provide additional support for stored goods.

Longspan Racking
Two single runs of longspan shelving were installed to accommodate smaller items and picking locations.

Packing Benches
Two runs of packing benches were installed to support packing and dispatch activities.

The installation provided Q-Brands Limited with a high-density, flexible storage solution capable of safely supporting heavy pallets while maximising available warehouse space. The addition of packing benches enhanced operational efficiency, allowing staff to work ergonomically and safely.
